Israel
Hillel students learn a love
for the land and people of Israel. From
the earliest years we incorporate Israeli music, foods and culture into
our program. Throughout the
curriculum we teach about the cities, sights and personalities of
Israel. Our students use
their Hebrew skills to correspond with Israeli students and soldiers as
we form bonds with our family in Israel.
When
possible, our Eighth grade students spend two weeks
of their final trimester in Israel for an unforgettable experience.
This past year the students also had a chance to visit Prague and see
the resurgence of Jewish population in the European city.
